Spanish Blackjack
Spanish Blackjack is a game normally played on a Blackjack table and is played with up to 8 Spanish decks of cards (48 cards – the standard 52 card deck with the 10 spot cards taken out).
The dealer gets a hole card and has to hit and stand on a soft 17. Spanish Blackjack pays out 3:2 and always wins in spite of the fact if the dealer has blackjack or not. Standing, hitting and splitting follow the same rules as Blackjack and Doubling after splitting is always allowed.
Once the first two hands are dealt the dealer peeks at the hole card to check for blackjack before the play continues. If the dealer has blackjack all the players automatically lose, unless they also have Blackjack.
