Roulette was initially played in France as far back as the 17th Century and has lived up to its popularity even to the 21st century where it is now one of the most trendy and well liked games available on the gaming circuit.
The players play in opposition to the House (represented by the Dealer) who spins the roulette wheel and controls all the bets and payouts. In French Roulette the wheel has 37 slots (36 numbers plus one zero).
The bets are placed on the numbers; the croupier spins and waits for the ball to drop in a numbered slot.
The winners will be those whose numbers corresponds to the number in which the ball landed – the croupier will then pay out all the winnings accordingly.
